The year 2022 marks the 80th anniversary of the beginning of “Aktion Reinhardt”, an operation commenced by the Germans in the occupied Polish territories.
“Aktion Reinhardt” was the code name of the massive operation to exterminate Polish Jews and Jews previously deported to the General Government and the Białystok District, carried out in 1942-1943 as part of the Final Solution to the Jewish Question operation.
During “Aktion Reinhardt”, Jews from other European countries such as the Netherlands, Austria, Slovakia, Germany and Greece were also brought to extermination camps in occupied Poland. Terrible crimes of the destruction of entire Jewish communities and mass robberies were committed, as a result of which approximately 1.85 million Jews died.

We are a historical portal discussing issues related to the Holocaust within the German “Aktion Reinhardt”. Our materials have been prepared for two age groups in the form of six seminars (for adults) and a brochure (for teenagers). We have also prepared a glossary of terms, source texts, additional materials and videos as well as quizzes to test your knowledge.
By learning about history, we gain knowledge and preserve memory together.
